BELSIL P 1101

BELSIL P 1101 is a silicone-organic hybrid material provided as a 50% solution in denatured ethanol. It combines strong hold properties of a hair styling resin with typical silicone properties like softness and silkiness. BELSIL P 1101 can be used in aerosols, pump sprays and balm/gel-type formulations. In styling applications BELSIL P 1101 is used as a non-flaking resin for medium to strong hold. It shows high water content can be formulated without compromising hold, silky feel and quick drying times. BELSIL P 1101 helps to prevent heat damage to hair by reduced water loss from hair fibers during hot treatments. The hybrid polymer contains free acid groups which should be neutralized to extend its benefits in formulations.
