NOVEON AA-1 USP POLYCARBOPHIL

NOVEON® AA-1 POLYCARBOPHIL USP is a versatile excipient suitable for topical drug delivery, ophthalmic drug delivery, oral drug delivery, and oral care applications. NOVEON® AA-1 POLYCARBOPHIL USP has bioadhesive and mucoadhesive properties, prolonging the residence time of the active ingredients in situ (nasal, buccal, vaginal and rectal mucosae). NOVEON® AA-1 POLYCARBOPHIL USP is a thickener and rheology modifier, and suspension and emulsion stabilizer used in semisolids and gels, solutions and suspensions and oral solid doses. Recommended concentration in oral solutions & suspensions is 0.2-1 wt%, in topical products is 0.5-3 wt% . NOVEON® AA-1 POLYCARBOPHIL USP is a polymer of acrylic acid crosslinked with divinyl glycol.
