TECOFLEX EG 93A-B40 is a medical grade aliphatic polyether-based thermoplastic polyurethane with 40% loading of barium sulfate. It offers a durometer hardness of 95A Shore and specific gravity of 1.52. As a radiopaque material, TECOFLEX EG 93A-B40 can be used in applications where visualization under imaging is required. Its inherent UV stability resists yellowing making it suitable for products used in healthcare and other industries dealing with advanced materials. TECOFLEX EG 93A-B40 also provides good mechanical properties with a flexural modulus of 4,700 psi and tensile strength of 6,500 psi making it durable for use in demanding applications. Its processing versatility allows for extrusion or injection molding of complex parts used in various advanced material product designs.
