OPACILITE

OPACILITE is a high whiteness calcined kaolin produced through a unique rapid heating process. This process creates numerous sealed voids within the kaolin particles, resulting in low density and outstanding opacity. The presence of these sealed voids distinguishes OPACILITE from regular calcined kaolins. OPACILITE delivers superior hiding performance due to its low density and high light scattering properties. It can be used to replace more expensive pigments in end use applications where opacity is critical.
