It forms an occlusive film, which reduces trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL). BELSIL CM 7026 VP's high substantivity, improved water resistance and moisturizing properties make this alkyl-functional silicone wax an indispensable component for formulations where skin protection, improved feel and water resistance are important.
